Luke 6:35 reads “love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

Galatians 5:14 says, ‘for the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: Love your neighbor as yourself.’

-Love is a priority to God. Ephesians 5:1-2, therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Love involves giving up your preferences, comforts, desires and time for the benefit of someone else. John 13:35 reads by this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” Love is needed for fellowship with believers and to draw unbelievers to Christ. Love involves practically serving, humility, forgiveness unselfishness and sacrificial giving. Love is paramount in holiness. 1 Peter 4:8 also reads, above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

-Love those who dislike or like you. Love your enemies as well Matthew 5:44-47 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?

-Do not say I love you if…, but rather say I love you despite... Love is a sacrificial decision for the well being of another. 1 John 4:18 reads there is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

-Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. I Corinthians 13:4-8

-Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth. –I John 3:18.

-GOD IS LOVE 1 John 4: 8 whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love
